Wedding Order of Service

Measurements: 150 x 203mm
Card Colour and Texture: White, Cream or Ivory

An order of service is useful to provide your guests with if your ceremony is in a church. It will give your guests a break down of the service. Some people like to include the whole ceremony wheras others prefer to just give the music, prayers and hymns.

Our Orders of Service are designed to match the rest of your stationery and usually contain two inserts which are fixed together discreetly with staples before being stuck in the booklet. It is common for couples to change the font to a more traditional one for the booklet as you want your guests to find it very easy to read and not to struggle with a hard to read font.

Your vicar/minister will usually want to look over a proof of the Order of Service and may have a couple of changes to the order or spellings. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material (e.g. poems) you ask us to include in your order of service and in particular you indemnify Bubbly Creations against any action brought against it for breach of a third party's copyright.

Copyright exists in creative works such as hymns for 70 years after the death of the writer. During that period, it is illegal to reproduce the works in any form without the permission of the copyright holder (or their appointed agent). Therefore, should you wish to reproduce the text of a hymn in your Order of Service, you will need the permission of the copyright holder. You will find details of the copyright holder at the bottom of each hymn's page, although many of the hymns are out of copyright due to their age.

A typical Order of Service will be set out as follows:

Front Page:
Location of Wedding
bride and Grooms name
Date of wedding

Entrance music for bride
Signing of the register
Exit Music

All of the above items are optional.
